🚶➡️ Around Town
Early Voting Feb 12-28, Primary Election on March 3
Primary elections are being held for Federal, State, and County elections. You can vote early through Feb 28 with the main event on March 3. The two early voting sites closest to Fuquay-Varina are at the Hilltop Needmore Town Park and the W.E. Hunt Recreation Center (in Holly Springs).
More information at link below:
New Town Commissioner: Larry Smith
Fuquay-Varina has no elections this year but last year Bill Harris was elected Mayor. This left a vacancy on the Board of Commissioners that has been filled by Larry Smith. The town is fantastic about being transparent and sharing information.
🌳 Parks + Outdoors
Featured Park: South Park
South Park is located at 900 South Main Street..
South Park hosts many town events, such as fireworks in the summer, and the South Park Community Center.
When it gets warm, definitely check out the splash pad and playgrounds.
From softball and baseball fields to a jogging track to a large soccer field to the trailhead for the Jeff Wells Trail, South Park is a great place to visit!

🔍 Local Favorite: One Question, Many Answers
One question to dive deep into Fuquay-Varina answered by the many.
This Week: Breakfast
Brunch, breakfast, is always a popular topic, doubly so on the weekend. It was a recent topic of conversation between friends and I and it felt like a question that should go to the masses.
Off the cuff, what is your favorite place to grab breakfast in Fuquay-Varina?
The upshot seems to be that while our breakfast/brunch places are well loved - we want more! This is even more the sentiment at the moment as we’ve recently lost Brews on Main, the Morning Hanger is being repaired, and Egg’s Up is being renovated. Still, newcomers like Lucci Blue’s Cafe and Deli on Main Street have been making an impression and are becoming quick favorites. This is definitely a space to watch!
Here is a very non-exhaustive list of places to grab breakfast and/or brunch ordered by responses.
Eggs Up - 1436 N Main St
Lucci Blue’s - 209 Fayetteville St
Bluegrass Bagels - 100 Dickens Rd
Deli on Main - 604 N Main St
Mason Jar Tavern (weekend brunch!) - 305 S Main St
Honorable Mention: Biscuitville - 605 Stellata Dr
Respond to this email or DM us on social with your own favorites or if you think somewhere needs more love!
